Equinox can deliver several types of automatic sorting systems for flat and hanging goods. The automatic sorting systems are mainly used in distribution centers for fashion, consumer electronics, multimedia, pharmacy and post for sorting single items or small packs. In close cooperation with our customer we engineer the best system design and lay-out for your specific situation. Our own specialized employees take care of the complete installation and technical implementation of the sorting solution in your logistics process. Our sorting solutions are controlled by our own software that is especially developed for these applications. We can interface with almost all imaginable ERP and WMS systems.
Next to the three specific automated sorting systems underneath Equinox can also deliver and implement different types of automated sorting systems, like a shoe sorter, box sorter, shipping sorter and mini loads.

  The OVAL SORTER is a tray-based sortation system and is developed for flat goods such as books, garments, accessories and many other items. It also sorts returned goods to stock locations. The trays circulate in a horizontal plane, the so called oval. The shape can be a closed oval or an open oval where the operators work inside the machine as well to suit different operational requirements.

 The SLIDE TRAY SORTER is a sorter based on trays under an angle. By opening a flap at the end of the tray products slide out of the trays by gravity into a sorting location. With this sorter a wide range of products, like cd’s, dvd’s, books, small boxes, consumer electronics, envelopes, postal parcels or packed garments, can be accurately sorted to a shop, customer, location or route.

  The CROSSBELT SORTER is a carrier belt based sortation system that is developed for sorting a wide range of products from clothing, multimedia, pharmaceutical, postal packages and multimedia products to fresh foods (even cartons with eggs) and fragile or bottled products. Goods are placed on carrier belts that are situated rectangular on the moving direction of the sorter. At the right destination the belt turns left or right and the product is discharged to the right destination. The carrier belts are driven mechanically.

 Equinox HANG SORTER systems can sort products at up to 10.000 sorts per induction point per hour. Synchronized spindle, hook separator and double hanger detection for easy and efficient induction of your products are part of the standard installation. Automatic scanning of garments and/or separation-hangers with pre-induction are also available.
